A New York doctors’ telephone service is proposing to the Federal Communication Commission of America a scheme for a doctors’ radio-paging service, so that, if a call came for a doctor five minutes after he had left to answer another call, the central service could get in touch with the doctor’s car radio, using code sign for that particular doctor, to which tho doctor could respond by starting a buzzer and lighting a pilot lamp. It would be good fun for the doctor, anyway. Appointment in India. The 8.8. C. announces that Mr C, W. Goyder, late of the 8.8. C.
