MONDAY'S CONCERT
DETAILS OF PROGRAMME All arrangements are now complete for the National Broadcasting Service’s celebrity concert to be held in the Town Hall on Monday night, when the featured artist will be _ Miss Eileen Joyce, famous young pianist, who is touring the service’s stations. The programme to be presented will be as follows ; 4YA Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gil Dech, ‘ Children’s Overture ’ (Qiiilter), ‘ Tarantelle ’ (from ‘London Every Day Suite,* Coates). Wilfred Kershaw (bass), with orchestral accompaniment; ‘Prologue from “ Palliacci.” ’ (Leoncavallo). Eileen Joyce, with 4YA Symphony Orchestra, ‘ Symphonic Variations (Cesar Franck). 4YA Symphony Orchestra, ‘Faust Ballet Music ’ (Gounod). Eileen Joyce, ‘ Arabesque ’ (Schujnann), 1 Ballacta iu G Minor (Chopin). Wilfred Kershaw, with piano accompaniment, *ln a Churchyard (Brahms), ‘The Blacksmith’ (Koenemann). 4YA Symphony Orchestra, ‘Nell Gwynn Dances ' (Gorman).
