BIBLES IN HOTEL ROOMS
The International Association of Gideons, which has its headquarters at Washington, has placed more than. 1,300,000 copies of the Bible in hotel rooms since they began their work in 1908. One hotel manager told them that his electric light bill went up noticeably after they had placed Bibles in, the-rooms of his. hotel. Other hotel managers have told the® that they considered a Bible in every-room of their establishment .a . greater, . asset than a policeman on every corner.
