TAXI GAB PROBLEM. In connection with (he inquiry io be held into the taxi cab ami town carrying business, the cnumiii tee's chairman, Mr P. M. Butler, said the investigation would open at Wellington on Monday morning, end all evidence would be taken under oath. They proposed hearing the taxi cab problem first, and would commence Hie inquiry on Hie town carrying business on Thursday. The committee will sit also at Christchurch. Dunedin. Invercargill, Tiraartt. Palmerston North, Wanganui, New Plymouth. Hamilton, Auckland, Whangarei. Rotorua, Gisborne. Napicr-Hastings. and Mastertoxx. Mr A. L. Lynskey is secretary, and all inquiries should be directed to him at the Transport Department. Wellington.Press Association.
