HOSPITAL SERVICES
TENDERS RECOMMENDED FOR ACCEPTANCE The Finance Committee of the Otago Hospital Board recommends the board to accept the following tenders for services for the year ending September 30, 1937: Purchase and removal of kitchen refuse, Dunedin Hospital—W. Hastie. Removal of ashes —W. Casey and Son. Bread for Dunedin Hospital, Nurses’ Home, Talboy’s Home, Batchelor Hospital, Infections Diseases Hospital, and Prince Edward Children’s Convalescent Home—F. Tanner. Bread for Wakari Hospital—W, Taylor. Bread for Pleasant Valley Sanitorium and Palmerston Hospital—W. J, M‘Kenney, jun. The committee reports that the controller of stores has been instructed to report on the tenders received for the supply of meat for all the board’s institutions milk and cream for all- tha institutions, and the supply of steam and household coals_ to the various institutions and recipients of outdoor relief.
