TO BE STARTED IK DECEMBER (British, Official Wireless.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, September 15. The construction of the Cunard liner 552, the sister ship to the Queen Mary, will be begun in December. The work of placing in position the keel blocks of fir wood, specially chosen to avoid the danger of combustion when the ship runs down the slipway, .will be begun immediately. The keel laying will probably be completed about March. The ‘ Daily Telegraph ’ says the King has expressed his willingness to lay the first keel plate of the new liner.
