Cotton beat Adams at the twentieth. 0. Ezar beat Sam King, 3 and 2. Cotton and Adams had a terrific fight. Cotton was out in 34 to stand 2 up. Adams squared at the sixteenth. He overdrove the green at the twentieth, Cotton winning with 4 against 5. Ezar -is the first American ever to compete at this tournament.
