The Government has issued a sensational communique announcing that legal action is being taken against certain French armament firms on charges of misrepresentation in the construction of material intended for national defence. _____ TWO FIRMS INVOLVED DEFECTIVE TORPEDO TUBES. LONDON, September 16. The ‘Daily Telegraph’s’ Paris correspondent says the two firms concerned are Schneider and Brunon Valette. They are accused of manufacturing defective torpedo tubes.
