AUSTRALIAN ADMINISTRATION ROSENBLOOM ADVISES REVISIONS SYDNEY, September 16. Maxie Rosenbloom, who will sail for America by the Monterey to-morrow, told a * Sim ’ interviewer that boxing in Australia would never thrive until it was controlled by a commission, preferably honorory under Government control. WRESTLING BLOMFIELD AND DAVIS DRAW [Per United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, September 16. A wrestling contest here to-night between Lofty Blomfield (17.2) and Willie Davis (18.6) resulted in a draw. Davis secured a fall with a body press in the sixth round, and Blomfield evened with a fall by an octopus clamp in the final round. BLOMFIELD V. PEHCHEFF George Pencheff, the clever Bulgarian wrestler who was a member of the 1931 team to visit New Zealand, has returned to the Dominion, 1 and will make his first appearance for the season at the Town Hall on Saturday night. His opponent will be Lofty Blotnfield, the New Zealand champion, who in 1931 was having his introduction to the game. Pencheff will be remembered as

a, particularly well-built wrestler, who is generally in the best of physical condition and weighs over 15J-. stone. He is said to he noted for his high-class displays on the mat and for the speed and aggression which he puts into his work. During the past several months Pencheff 'has been wrestling with marked success on the Pacific Coast, where ho has met Vincent Lopez, Jack Patterson, and Dan O’Mahoticy. Ho is credited with having participated in 100 bouts during his last American visit, without once having received an adverse decision. He is also credited with having perfected the Irish whip, the hold which brought O’Mahoney the world title, and it should bo interesting to note whether he can reduce Blomffeld with this punishing hold. The many decisions which lie obtained over Tom Lurich while in Australia last season, and the fact that he took two straight falls in two rounds from Angelo Cestokli, who went to the Commonwealth last October, would indicate that he is a wrestler of class. The box plans are at the D.I.C, ■
