CHRISTCHURCH BRIDE SPEECHLESS ON WEDDING DAY Great consternation reigned in the househol ' of a Christchurch girl on the morning of her wedding day. She had retired the night before feeling quite fit, but in the morning she woke and discovered that she had lost the use of her voice. Whether the cause was due to nerves or an incipient cold was not known, but after a great deal of excitement and confusion, a friendly neighbour who was present popped out and returned with a bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. The bride-to-be, after taking a few sips, recovered the use of her voice, much to the relief of everyone concerned. Here is another example where emergencies unexpectedly arise when “ Baxter’s” is urgently required. Every home, every shop, and every office should have a bottle of “ Baxter’s ” always on hand to deal with threatening colds, hoarseness, and sore throats. “ Baxter’s ” is absolutely unrivalled for obstinate chest colds, relieving tightness, and shifting phlegm off the chest when nothing else will. “ Baxter’s ” tonic properties are also unique.
