(Received September 17, at 12.15 p.m.) Training at Randwick was carried on outside the course proper, which was a little dead after the rain. Loud Applause started with Ilium at the mile, and Ccrno Abbas joined m at five furlongs. Loud Applause finished first, and, taking Imin 48sec for the mile, went rather well. Gustos and Grand Boy covered six furlongs in Imin 22sec. the latter going rather the better of the two. Pladie and Happy Landing ran the mile in Imin 51sec. At Rosebery, on the middle grass, 25ft out on good going, Silver Ring, carrying a very light boy, went six furlongs in Imin lojscc, the first two iii 25Jscc, showing that be is back to his best. Sporting Rlood led Satmoth over a seven-furlong run in I min 32soc in a very satisfactory manner.
