LARGE DESTROYER TO BE BUILT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, September 15. The Minister for Defence (Sir Archdale Parkhill) announced that the Commonwealth Government was budding a large destroyer comparable with a light cruiser in effectiveness, at a cost of £BOO,OOO. The construction would be carried out at Cockatoo dockyard, Sydney. .
