POLICE COURT
WEDNESDAY, September 16. (Before Air J. R. Bartholomew, S.AI.) DRUNKENNESS. Brycla Bailey alias Sheehan pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness. Senior-sergeant Packer said _ that the defendant had been wandering about tho streets last evening, and was warned several times by Constable Berry. She wandered into an hotel about 8.15, ami was put out. She was arrested and brought to the police station. She had not been before the court since December 9 last for drunkenness. The accused said she was just out of hospital, having had a fractured leg and a burnt arm. The Alagistrate: “ If 1 let you off this time will you keep clear of trouble? ” “’Yes, sir,” replied the defendant, who was then convicted and discharged.
