SAWYERS BAY TENNIS CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Sawyers Bay Tennis Club was held in the Presbyterian Church Hall yesterday. The president (Mr C. G. Lewis) was in the chair. The report of tho last season revealed that both numerically and financially it was one of the best experienced in the history of the club. The president thanked the club captain (Mr H. Ferguson), the secretary (Miss V. King), and the committee for the fine work put into enable sucli a report to be tabled. The following were re-elected for the incoming season:—Patron, Mr R. D. Poison; president, Mr C. G. Lewis; vice-presidents—Messrs L.'Johnson, A. Chisholm, L. Cleghorn, R. Andrews; club captain, Mr H. Ferguson; secretary. Miss V. King; treasurer, Mr A. J. "Fraser The following were elected to the committee to act in conjunction with the last four officers above;—Mr A. Thompson, Miss J. Hurndell, Miss D. Reeves.
