PEOPLE OF NEW ZEALAND HIGHEST CONSUMPTION IN WORLD Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 14. The League of Nations fourth volume under the guidance of the Nutrition Committee reveals that the people of the British Empire are the largest meat eaters. New Zealand leads with an annual per capita consumption of 2361 b, followed by Australia with 2021 b, Canada 1441 b and Britain 1401 b. United States, with 1361 b, leads foreign countries, after which comes Denmark 1201 b and Germany 1101 b. The largest sugar consumer is Denmark, with 1201 b. Britain consumes 1101 b, Australia 1071 b, and the United States 1031 b. Switzerland consumes 58 gallons of milk, the United States 39, Denmark 36, New Zealand 28, and Britain, Prance, and Germany 23 each.
