FRIENDLY TRADE RELATIONS
CANADA AND RUSSIA EMBARGOES LIFTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MONTREAL, September, 11. Mr Mackenzie King, Prime Minister of Canada, to-day announced the, restoration of friendly trade relations between Canada and Soviet Russia. The embargo effected by the Bennett Government in 1931 against Russian coal, wood pulp, lumber, 'and other products has been lifted, while it is understood that Moscow has lifted the counter-embargo against Canadian products. The Minister for Trade and Commerce, Mr W. D. Euler, who recently visited Russia, will soon outline the trade deal with the Soviet.
