[Per United Press Association.] BLENHEIM, September 15. a»-,» fairly evenly-contested game Marlborough defeated the Canterbury colts by 19 points to 11. The match was played under good conditions, though there was a stiff breeze blowing downfield. In the first spell the scores were even, but the home side had the better of the second bnif, at one stage leading by 14 points to c. Por Marlborough, tries were stored by Robinson (2), Brown, and Hoare, Lane converting two and kicking a penalty goal. Canterbury’s points were a try by .Saundercock, converted by I Thompson, and penalty goals by Thump- I •on and White. 1
