NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP BOWIE ELIMINATED IN SEMI-FINAL [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 13. L'lie surprise of the New Zealand amateur billiards championship tourney occurred yesterday in the last quarterfinal, when A. Bowie (Dunedin) very easily heat the present holder, L. Holclswortli (Auckland) -who was completely off form. Results:— QUARTER-FINAL. Bowie 666 beat Holdsworth 191. SEMI-FINALS. A. Albertson (Lyttelton) 750 beat G. Southerwood (Christchurch) 446. S. Moses (Wellington) 750 beat A. Bowie (Dunedin) 651.
