POTTERING ABOUT
Occasionally owners are in the mood to potter about with tho car—anything at all, nothing in particular. Such moods should be arranged about every three months, wbeu a general checkover of all spring clips, wheel nuts, bolts, nuts, and screws, etc., should bo made, tightening where necessary. Electrical connections will need tigu. ening here and there, lamps may be a trifle loose or a connection faulty. Tighten and top up the battery. See to steering linkage, and if any joints are loose make the correction or, better still, have it done at tho regular service .station, at tho same time top up oil levels, change motor oil if due, and have car oiled and greased at all points. Tighten universal flanges, adjust clutch pedal for clearance, and have tappets carefully adjusted.
