CHILDREN PLAYING ON STREETS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l am quite in agreement with “ Carrier ” when he suggests that a traffic inspector should visit Eskvale street—preferably the intersection of Eskvale and New streets. I am quite satisfied he would be well rewarded—not with the clearing of budding “ All Blacks ” from the street, but assisting the Minister of Transport to counteract speed-hogs, and so make the streets safe for youngsters.—l am, etc., A Father.
