NEW YORK.—A cowboy from Texas who had taken lodgings at a skyscraper hotel found difficulty in stabling his horse in the motorised metropolis. The management of the hotel came to his rescue by improvising a stable on the roof.
STOCKHOLM. —The aviatrix, Eva Dickson von Blixen-Fineche„ and the pilot, Kurt Bjorkvall, who propose to attack the Atlantic flight record. On the left is Bernt Balchers, the Norwegian pilot, who spent considerable time in Dunedin in his association with the Byrd and Ellsworth Antarctic Expeditious.
