PUBLICATION RECEIVED

SWEDISH TRADE There is a Swedish Chamber of Commerce for Australia, Now Zealand, and the South Sea Islands, and it reinforces its activities by the publication of a trade journal. The twenty-fifth anmversary number of this journal has just been issued, and it contains much interesting information about Swedish industries. Sweden does a fair amount of business with. New Zealand, wool and fruit being the chief commodities taken. A trade agreement, concluded last year between the two countries, was an important event, and advantages to each country will no doubt accrue as a result. This number explains the variety and scope of Sweden’s manufacturing industries, and the relations of that country with Australia, New Zealand, and the South Seas. A booklet that accompanies the journal gives an idea of the charms of Sweden as a tourist resort. It is a land of loveliness, with a romantic history, containing a kindly and hospitable people. 1 FOREIGN FINCHES ’ An interesting little book by S. D.
