SECOND RUGBY TEST
THIS AFTERNOON’S GAME HUGE CROWD ANTICIPATED With overhead conditions favourable at noon to-day and the ground in excellent condition, a crowd of from 25,000 to 30,000 was anticipated at Carisbrook this afternoon for the second Rugby test between Australia and New Zealand. There were no last-minute changes in the New Zealand team, and in tho Australian team K. P. Storey was considered fit enouglx to fill the position of full-back, V. Richards being omitted from the list of five three-quarters announced last night. Over 2,000 visitors arrived in Dunedin by train to-day for the second Rugby test between New Zealand and Australia at Carisbrook this afternoon. Many more came by car, and there should be at least 3,000 visitors from north and south present for the game. The special from Christchurch, which arrived here at 6.53 this morning, had 275 aboard, 600 came from Invercargill by tho through express, and another 200 were on tho special from Invercargill, arriving here at 11.52. The Central Otago special from Cromwell brought 220, and the Balclutlia, Tahakopa, Roxburgh special 230 passengers. There were 470 aboard the ordinary Clinton train arriving at 10.19, and 275 on the Oamaru train arriving at 11.6.
