— * A WIN FOR POLAND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WARSAW, September 11. (Received September 12, at 10.50 a.m.) Poland won the Gordon Bennett balloon race for the third time in succession. The result was announced when word was received of the landing of a Polish halhr.m at Lopp, 1,250 miles from Warsaw, near the White Sea. The pilots were compelled to travel G2 miles over roadlc-s country before they were able to send word of their descent.
