September 10.— The Deutsche Lufthansa living boat Zephyr, with n crew of Jour, landed here to-day after a 22-honrs' non-stop flight. from Ilona (Azores), making the first in a series of survey flights for a transatlantic sendee 1 . WATERSIDE DISPUTE. As a result-■ of ilie employers objecting to engage a unionist who had been convicted of theft, the members of. the Auckland Watersider.s' Union refused to continue unloading the steamer Ashburton. The employers thereupon declared the Ashbarton, a preference ship, stating that no further labour would he engaged for other ships until the men resumed on the Ashburton. The unionists resumed work on the Ashburton early this afternoon. Press Association. IX FAVOUR OF M'ARTHUR. A Wellington Association message states that in a complicated judgment concerning the ownership of the yacht Morewa.
