SKIRMISH IN PALESTINE

(Received September 11, at 1 p.m.) Following an ambush of troops and police at Acre, a seven-hour skirmish, iii which troops and aircraft co-oper-ated, resulted in the killing of 27 Arabs. The British casualties were three dead. IRAQ PIPE LINE DAMAGED TWENTY-SIX TIMES. JERUSALEM, September 10(Received September 11, at 1.15 p.m.) It is officially stated that the Iraq pipe line has been damaged 26 times since the beginning of the disturbances, . and that escaping oil has four times affected the telephone wires. Prompt detection in every instance has prevented an interruption of the oil flow.
