B STATIONS
VALUATION COMMENCED [From Oue Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, September 10. The Government has made a commencement with its plans to include the B stations in the National Broadcasting Service. . The Prime Minister (Mr Savage) stated that Mr Pound, a Treasury oracial, and Mr Green, radio engineer to the Post and Telegraph Department, have commenced the work of valuing these stations. They are at present at Auckland, where three stations have to receive attention. . “ Our objective,” explained the Prime Minister, “ is to buy all the x> stations, if possible, but if not we will subsidise them on a basis of valuation that will have to bo agreed upon.
