Final arrangements for the wedding of the Duke of Gloucester and Lady ■ Alice Scott will be completed later this week at a conference between the. Lord Chamberlain and representatives of Westminster Abbey. The Duke, who is at present staying at Buckingham Palace, has obtained leave from his regiment until after the wedding. Next week he will go to. Sandringham for a few days’ shooting with the King. THE BRIDESMAIDS. LONDON, October 1. The ‘Daily Mail’ says: “Princess Margaret Rose will participate in her first Royal ceremony as bridesmaid to Lady Alice Scott on November 6, with Princess Elizabeth, Lady Mary Cambridge (daughter of the Marquess of Cambridge), Lady Angela Scott (the bride’s sister), Lady Elizabeth Scott, Misses Ann Hawkins and Claire Phipps (the bride’s nieces), and Miss Moyra Scott (a cousin). Lady Angela Scott and the bride were inseparable when children, and they decided that whoever was married first should have the other as bridesmaid.
