MACANDREW BAY ORPHANS' CLUB
LADIES' NIGHT On Wednesday evening, lasfc- the Macandrew Bay Hall was the scene of much gaiety, the occasion being the Orphans' Club ladies?, night. The hall was attractively decorated with tree ferns, bunting, streamers, and coloured lights, and a very.pleasing effect was. ; ~ A .strong Ladies? < Committee was in charge of the catering, and arrangements in this respect left nothing to be desired. The guests were received by the president, Mr D. Maider, and Mrs Maider. The general secretary of the Association of Kindred Clubs, Orphans, and Savages, Col. A. E. Loach (Christchurch), honoured the dub with a visit. The Dunedin Orphans' Club' was represented by Bros. C. J. L. White (president), W.. P. Dobbie, A". M'Donald, C. R. Russell, R. H. Brvant, R. Wilson-Brown, A. Wilson, E. v Ottrey, E. Bolwell, and R. Moen; the Invercargill Orphans' Club by Bros. J. Andrews and Bro. Moody; the Oamaru Savage Club by Brd.v-J...'. Newson.
