WINNIPEG, September 29. “ Negotiations for a trade pact with the United States are now under consideration. It will mean the lessening of payments on imports from the United States of nearly 60,000,000d0l and affect some 700 items,”' stated Mr R. B. Bennett, the Prime Minister of Canada, in an address.
