“ May I go back to the commencement,” said counsel in an action in the Chancery Division in Loudon recently. “ To the beginning,” corrected Mr Jus-, tie© Bennett, adding: “ I have always got the strongest objection to the word ‘ commencement.’ 1 do not believe it appears in the Book of • Common Prayer.” Another counsel ended the discussion by reminding the court that the Bible does not begin. “Jn the commencement.”
