KAIKORAI BAND SUNDAY CONCERT
The Kaikorai Band will present another of its popular concerts in Hi* Majesty’s Theatre to-morrow night at 8.5. the conductor, Lieutenant H. J., Osborne, has again selected a good programme, which should meet the approval of all tastes. The descriptive fantasia, ‘ The Smithy in the Wood.’' will be presented with full lighting effects. The trombone -solo, ‘ Tho Joker,’ will be played by the band with Bandsman A. Kitto as soloist. Th» hymn, ‘ Praise My Soul,’ which wa« specially arranged for the band by tba well-known composer, A. Mullenger, the gavotte, ‘ Premier Bonheur,’ and the marches, ‘ Half and Half ’ and ‘The Moa,’ will complete the' items. The baud will be assisted by Mrs Morgan (mezzo-soprano) and Mr J. Dover eux. • Miss Sybil Henderson, who gained several successes at the recent competitions, will provide selected bin morons numbers, while piano duets will be played by Miss D. Goodlet and Mis* 13. Escell and Stokes’ Banjo Band will give several items. The 1 accompanist will be r Alf. Pettitt.
