KAIKORAI SWIMMING CLUB

SECOND ANNUAL MEETING The Kaikorai Amateur Swimming Club held its second annual meeting last night, the president (Mr E. Millin) presiding over an attendance of 28 members. Moving the adoption <of the annual report and balance sheet, the Chairman thanked members for their support, and trusted they would continue to show an active interest in the affairs of the club. Considering that the club was only now entering its third year, they had experienced a very satisfactory season from every point of view. The balance sheet, which showed a credit of £ls 9s Bd, was a highly satisfactory one, and at the rate they were going they woidd soon be wealthy enough to carry out some necessary work. The motion was seconded by M E. Sonntag and earned unanimously. The election of office-bearers resulted ; —Patron, Mr A. ]). Sutherland; president, E. Millin; vice-presidents —Messrs W. Anderson, F. Fraser, and G. Laing; secretary and treasurer, Mr ,W, Darling; club captain. Mr L. Highfield; deputy captain, Mr A. Hannah; ladies captain, Miss H. Huddart; delegato to the Otago.Swimming Centre, Mr E. Sonntag; starter, Mr U. Shepherd; handicapper, Mr D. Welham; auditor, Mr A, Botting; General Committee— Messrs E. Millin, W. Darling, E. Sonntag, A. Hanna, D. Welham, L. Highfield, A. Blair, M. L. Hortor, and Misses L. Huddart, H. Ness, and L. Abliott. ion new members were elected.
