ST. BERNADETTE'S CARNIVAL

Last night there was a large attendance at the carnival which is being held in the grounds of St. Bernadette’s Church, Forbury' road, this week. An attractive array of stalls, which are well stocked with a variety of articles, has been provided, and visitors are spending freely, while the popularity of the novelty games is apparent by the amount of support each is receiving nightly. The grounds are brilliantly lighted by a series of coloured lights, and the whole carnival is most alluring to the members of the public. The proceeds are in aid of the church funds. Tho carnival will be open again tonight and to-morrow afternoon and evening, novelty entertainments being arranged for each evening.
