(Received September 26, at 1.5 p.m.) The Skegness’s captain refused to aid of a lifeboat when the ship first went «»hore. Listeners heard the dramatic radio pleading by another trawler; V For God’s sake, man, let me summon the lifeboat or you’ll lose lives.” The Skegness replied that she was bumping, but refused aid for half an hour, .when it was too late.
