H.Z. COUNCIL GIVEN FULL CONTROL A GIFT OF £IOO [Pm United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 26. The Central Executive of the Royal Life Saving Society in London has altered the constitution for New Zealand, handing over full control to the 'New Zealand Council. The present head centres will be known in future as branches, and save in matters of appeal or examinations for diploma will cease to deal direct with the central executive. , , . . The new constitution, which . means complete self-government of life saving for New Zealand, is accompanied by a •Tift of £IOO to the New Zealand Council. The conference of life saving centres convened in Wellington next month has been postponed to enable the New Zealand Council to consider the new position. ,
