Most of them said they had gone because of Miss Moore’s beautiful singing. Others said the picture as a whole was grahd entertainment. Still osiers said a picture as grand as * One Night o* Love ■ conkin’t be made again, and that they might as well enjoy the film while they had access to it. But now that Grace Moore’s new picture. Love Me -forever ’ a Columbia film, which opens tomorrow at the State, has been released all over the country, people are making the same statements again. According to all reports, ‘ Love Me is far surpassing * One Night of Love in every, respect. The story deals with a wealthy cafe owner and gambler, an ardent lover of fine music, who makes Grace Moore, a singer in his cafe, his protege. He sacrifices wealth and position to satisfy an ideal, to make or ms beautiful singer the greatest soprano in the world, to give her the fame she deserves. Grace Moore, as the cate singer who eventually finds success aim. happiness, brings to the screen _a vivid, colourful, acting personality. It is this experienced artistry" that bus endeared her to audiences the world over. Leo Carrillo, featured with Miss Moore, plays the fiery gambler. His is the leading male role. Lum Alberm, who was also featured in 9 ne J ., Nl F Jlt £ of Love,’ plays a comedy role, that or an excitable little Italian. Michael Bartlett, distinguished lyric tenor, angs opposite Miss Moore in several scenes, Robert Allen, of the New York stage, is also cast in an important role. Iho balance of the supporting cast include* such players as Spring Bymgton, Douglas Dumbrille, and Gavm Gordon. Victor Schertzinger, director of Un* Night of Love,’ directed ‘ Love Me For* ever.’ V.- ' ' ! ■.
