( Dark Sky beat the Chanter over a mile in lmin 47Jsec, while Sir John went an easy seven furlongs in lmin 39sec. Homer led Fanfare over the best four furlongs of the morning in 51sec. _ Legatee accounted for a mile in lmin 48sec, doing the first four furlongs in 52}sec. Contact led Allunga over a mile, taking lmin 49sec. Curator did the fastest mile of the morning in lmin 45sec. Gladswood just beat Cherry King over six furlongs in lmin 21sec. Barak, over a mile, took lmin 51Jsec at even pace all the way. Scratchmere Scar did an easy mile, and Gold Trail a mile in lmin 46sec, going comfortably. Golden Chance beat Gay Sheik by ten lengths over five furlongs in lmin ssec. Silver Ring was not hurried to coyer six furlongs in lmin 22*sec.
At Rosebery, on the inside grass, Rogilla went well over seven furlongs in Imin 33sec.
Peter Pan and Young Idea worked well at Victoria Park, aS did Synagogue at Warwick Farm.
