MINIMUM WAGES SLIGHTLY HIGHER * (British Official Wireless.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, September 21.The Ministry of Agriculture’s latest report on the working of the Agricul* tural Wages Act shows that by the end of March last the general average weekly minimum rates of wages for agricultural workers were slightly higher than the figure at which they stood before the reduction resulting from the financial crisis of 1931. The downward movement ceased in June, 1933, and the upward trend has continued since.
