RETURN VISIT TO DUNEDIN On Thursday, in the Town Hall, Gladys Moncrieff will make her reappearance in the big concert which is being arranged by the New Zealand Broadcasting Board, for the mayoress’s children's Christinas cheer fund, and

tho whole of the proceeds will be handed over, so that the children can have a happy time at Christmas. It is hoped that the Town Hall will be packed for this worthy cause. The programme will bo presented by noted artists. Miss Gladys Moncrieff will be heard in numbers from her large repertoire, and she is assured of a great welcome from her friends in Dunedin. Gil Deck, pianist, will at this concert play piano solos in addition to accompanying Gladys Mon-

crieff’s numbers. Miss Heather Kinnaird (contralto) will make her appearance. and should prove popular with the audience, and Mr Raymond Beatty, bass-baritone, will sing numbers_ that should please all types of audience. Heather Kinnaird and Raymond Beatty will also be heard in vocal duets, and these are sure to bo verv popular. Fred Bluett, comedian, will provide the comedy, and he should receive a big hearing from all his friends. John Robertson, tho brilliant cornetist, is making Ids reappearance. He has proved himself a great favourite, and he is assured of a warm welcome. Miss Ethel Wallace, violinist, needs no introduction, and her numbers are sure to be appreciated. A full orchestra under Mens. B. L. H. De Rose will complete this programme, which is for a great cause. The priegs of admission are only 2s and Is, and these can be booked at Begg’s without tax or booking fee.
