(Received June 22 A at 8.50 a.m.) The ‘ Daily Express,’ commenting on the Japanese spokesman’s statement that Japan seeks a revision of the Washington - Treaty 5-5-3 ratio to enable her to have parity with the United States, says: “ Japan is greatly mistaken if she thinks the United States will willingly allow her to build up to the American strength in the Pacific.”
