LEITH LADIES’ CLUB

The annual meeting of the ladies’ section of the Leith Bowling Club was held in the pavilion on Tuesday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members. The and balancesheet were adopted. The following office-bearers were appointed :—President, Mrs A. Holmes; vice-president, Mrs E. Law-son; secretary and treasurer,' Mrs E. Lawson (reelected); committee Mesdames M'Crindle, Hutchison, Ferguson, Birrell, Miss Gunn; selector, Mrs W. Paterson; delegate to centre, Mrs E. Lawson (re-elected); Club Tie Committee—Mesdames Knowles, M'Crindle, Miss Gunn; Catering Committee—Mesdnmes Bills and Etheridge. Mrs W. Paterson the retiring president, thanked the members for their support during her term of office. A vote of thanks to the retiring office-bearers was carried.
