THE ‘SPORTS SPECIAL’
Three race meetings are included in the roster of sporting events tomorrow—Hawke’s Bay and Ashburton gallops, and the Auckland trots. The chief local football matches are Pirates v. Kaikorai (Rugby) and Northern v, Technical Old Boys fSoccer), but the situation in both codes holds much interest, with chances of positional fluctuation, Full reports will appear in the ‘ Sports Special ’ of these, as well as games in other codes—basketball, hockey, and the result's of harrier and cycling fixtures. To-morrow night’s issue will, as usual, be liberally illustrated.
