THE NEW ARMY THREE GRADES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. DUBLIN, June 20. (Received June 21, at 2.10 p.m.) The Free State Senate, by 22 votes to 12, limited tho operation of the Army Bill to November 30 in order to avoid the risk of abuses. Tho force will consist of 15,000 men, comprising all the army units. The first line win compose men between the ages of eighteen and twenty-two, enlisted for twelve years. After five years these will serve in tire second line. The initial training will be from fourteen to twenty days, supplemented by weekly drills* week-end camps, and annual training. The second line will comprise men under forty-five. It will attend only weekly parades, camps, and test mobilisation. The third line will be men of recognised national service, and will be called out only in a national emergency.
