STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR. Sidney Hastie, aged twenty-eight years, was admitted to the hospital last evening suffering from, injuries to his head and shock caused through being struck by a motor car when riding a bicycle at the corner of George street and Pine Hill terrace. He resides at 19 Gladstone road. SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. Joseph Leggett, aged sixty, married, of Hawera, died in the hospital last evening following an operation to his head for injuries sustained when his bicycle collided with a car driven by James M. Collins. The collision occurred near the victim’s homo when he was returning from a Rugby game. —Hawera Press Association,
