LAW STUDENTS’ DEBATING SOCIETY
The society held its annual oratorical contest on Monday evening, with a large attendance of members. Tho speakers for the evening displayed a consistently high standard, and showed a thorough knowledge of their chosen subjects. The judge, Mr C. M. Barnett, in tho course of his remarks, gave some helpful criticism and sound advice on public speaking. The following speakers were placed:—Mr K. A. Patterson 1, Mr L, F. Moller 2, Mr K.. W. Stewart 3, Mr N. C. B. French 4. The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the judge for his services.
