A. Wycherley) outlined the arrangements winch had been made for the coronation cciemonv, which was to take place in His Majesty’s Theatre on Tuesday next, and stated that, in addition to the spectacular .crowning ceremony, an attrao five concert programme would be prosentccl. . It was resolved to invite tlic Mayor, of St. Kilda (Mr J Beattie) and theMavor of Dunedin (Bev. E. 1. Cox) to officially open the proceeding?. It whs decided' that “ knighthoods be conferred upon representatives ot the various queen committees and ot the' central executive, and that presentations be made to the queen and to lier princesses. • hi regard to tbc numerous-.competi-tions which bad been carried out during tbe carnival period, it was decided that the'winners be notified that prizes might be obtained from Air D. M. Lister, a member of the committee. Appreciation of Mr C. Cull’s services as acting secretary during tbe absence of Mr J V Tresize was expressed by the meeting. A motion of sympathy with Mr E. H. Guilder, who bad recently suffered a • family, bereavement. was passed.
