Doubles: Borotra and Brugnon, Lott and Stoeffen, Hughes, and Perry, Crawford and Quist, : Women’s singles: Miss Jacobs, Miss Round, Miss Palfrey, Mrs Sperling (nee Krahwinkel), Miss Scriven, Miss Payot, Miss Aussem, and Mrs Mathieu. Mixed doubles; Cramm and Mrs Sperling, Lott and Miss Palfrey, Maier and Miss Ryan, Borotra and Miss Nuthall. ■ Women’s doubles: Miss Ryan and Mrs Mathieu, Miss Jacobs and Miss Palfrey, Miss James and Miss Nuthall, Miss Dearraan and Miss Lyle. In the first round of the singles Stedman plays Menzel. In the doubles Malfroy and Gandardower oppose Aoki and Fujikura, and Andrews and Stediiinii play Delbono and Sartorio. In the mixed doubles Malfroy and Miss Stammers have a bye in the first round “ Stedman and Mrs Hopman also have a bye. THE DAVIS CUP INSTRUCTIONS TO, DELEGATES. LONDON, June 20. (Received June 21, at 11 a.m.) T(ie Lawn Tennis Association’s Council's delegates to the Davis Cup meeting on July 31 have been instructed to oppose any alteration in the qualifying competition, but to support biennial instead of annual contests.
