‘THE DOVER ROAD’
There is a very large section who have an appreciation tor the best in dramatic entertainment, and these will anticipate with pleasure the opening night of the next amateur performance in His Majesty’s Theatre. This is A. A. Milne’s ‘ The Dover Road,’ which is being produced hy Miss Bessie Thomson for the University Dramatic Society, and will commence a season of three nights from to-morrow. The actors are all University students, whose talent was proved in last year’s presentation of ‘ Rope,’ as well as in the annual capping concerts. 1 The Dover Road follows the capping tradition of providing comedy, but whereas the capping comedy is exclusively “ home made,” in this performance it is from the pen of one who is excelled in the creation of humour. The principals in'the cast are: Anne, Miss Isobel Newlands; Eustasia, Miss Margot Garrett; Latimer, Mr Lester Moiler; Dominic, Mr Bruce JUKenx.ie; Leonard, Mr Russell Napier; Nicholas, Mr AVyvern De Clive Lowe.
