GASES DEALT WITH (Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 18. The Court of Appeal dealt with the following cases: — Keast v. Keast.—An application was made on behalf of Mrs Keast for an order in her favour for costs incidental to an appeal heard in this matter in which her appellant husband was successful. After hearing argument on both sides, the court allowed 30gs costs to her. Barton and Others v. Rhodos-Moor-houso and Others. —On March 12 last conditional leave was granted in this case for an appeal to the Privy Council That leave was made final to-day, when the court was informed that the conditions imposed had been complied with. Lyons v. the Public Trustee.—Judgment in this appeal was delivered by the Court of Appeal on April 12. Today an application was made for londitional leave to appeal to the Privy Council. This application was opposed, and after hearing argument, the court reserved decision. The case concerns the protection of moneys under a life insurance policy from creditors. Included in the matters to come before the court is an appeal by Lady Hunter, widow of Sir Gem-pe Hun {or. from ah order made in December by Mr Justice MacGregor for the maintenance of the infant daughter. All the counsel concerned agreed to an .order of £3 a week so long as tho child is living at home, rising to £6 should she be sent to a boarding school. Lady Hunter contended that the order was too small, but Mr Justice MacGregor made an order by consent of the other parties, and it was from this order that an appeal is to be brought. Hie hearing is set down for June 25.
